On the gentle hills of Dogliani in the Langhe, Cozzo Mario traces its roots back to the first half of the 1800s, shaped by a landscape long known for great wines. Its historic heart is Cascina Lasagna, an eighteenth century farmhouse later joined by the nearby Cascina Braida, as the estate grew while staying anchored to place. Across about ten hectares, the vineyards are cultivated mostly with Dolcetto, climbing between roughly 440 and 490 meters above sea level, where elevation and hillside exposure guide each year’s character. The philosophy is simple and steady: let the land speak through careful vineyard work, turning what these slopes give into wines built on quality, continuity, and the identity of Piemonte. You can find them in the hamlets of Borgata Gombe and Borgata Pamparato, in the area of Madonna delle Grazie, in Italia.
