Organoleptic Notes

Deep ruby red with a light violet tinge. Aromas of blackberries and currants with Mediterranean maquis notes, plus spice and vanilla. Full and well-structured, with smooth tannins and a long finish typical of the variety.

Winemaking

Vinification
Only with natural enzymes; vinification and maceration in open wooden barrels with daily manual punching down. No stabilization or filtration (sediment may be present).
Aging
Matured in 1000-liter French oak barrels for 24 months, then in bottle for a further 12 months (aging potential stated: 15–20 years).
