Organoleptic Notes
Intense ruby‑red colour with a complex, fruity nose of raspberry and a characteristic peppery note from the Vespolina grapes; the palate is balanced and full‑bodied with present but not dominant tannins, good persistence and elegant structure.
Winemaking
Vinification
After pressing and fermentation lasting 7–9 days, the wine is transferred to steel tanks and racked to remove the lees.
Aging
Aged for about 12 months in 25 hectolitre oak barrels before bottling.
