In Anagni, the so called Land of the Popes, Azienda Marcella Giuliani grows from a family agricultural property dating to the late 19th century, revitalized through a major renovation in 2002 across roughly 40 hectares of vineyards, olive groves, and woodland in the gentle Ciociaria hills. From the start it committed to organic farming, aiming to express the territory by elevating the typical character and quality of native grapes long associated with medieval papal courts. In the cellar, modern equipment supports a careful, respectful approach to vinification designed to preserve and enhance the raw material’s natural aromatics and structure. Since the 2015 harvest, Monica Marcucci has brought fresh energy and expertise shaped between Lazio and Tuscany, reinforcing a philosophy of attentive, naturally minded viticulture. The result is a historic farm that treats place as the main author, translating these hills into wines and extra virgin olive oil with an unmistakably local personality.
