Trambusti
Firenze, Toscana, Italy

From its roots in Firenze and nearly 90 years of work across four generations of winemakers, Trambusti has grown into a house dedicated to drawing out “nothing but the best” from the heart of Chianti Classico. At Tenuta Poggio ai Mandorli, an estate of more than 52 hectares set at 350 meters between Strada in Chianti and Greve in Chianti, pebbly mineral soils and a south east exposure shape a lively, fruit driven expression of Sangiovese. The vineyards, planted to Merlot and Syrah alongside Sangiovese and trained with the spurred cordon method, are treated as the estate’s living heritage, matched by ancient olive groves of Frantoio, Leccino, and Moraiolo trees, some over a century old. Their philosophy blends tradition, scrupulous attention to production, and respect for the environment, aiming for wines that feel smooth, elegant, and unmistakably tied to place. And because “Tuscany is a magical landscape,” as Curzio Malaparte put it, the estate opens its doors for tours, tastings, and stays, inviting visitors to experience the land and cellar side by side.
