Organoleptic Notes

From historic hillside vineyards around Atzara, this ruby‑red wine shows garnet hues and a wide, complex bouquet. Aromas of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, Mediterranean maquis and an elegant balsamic nuance lead to a structured, warm palate. The mouthfeel is enveloping with soft, well‑integrated tannins and great depth and persistence.

Winemaking

Vinification
Fermentation takes place in stainless‑steel tanks with indigenous yeasts and extended maceration on the skins. After pressing, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged for about 18 months in a combination of small barriques and larger tonneaux before being bottled unfiltered.
Aging
Approximately 18 months in oak barriques and tonneaux followed by bottle ageing
