Organoleptic Notes

A deep‑purple wine with a very floral bouquet of purple lilac, wisteria and blue iris. On the palate it is powerful yet luscious, with black‑currant fruit giving structure and a hint of graphite; the vibrant acidity balances the generous alcohol and leaves a long, persistent finish.

Winemaking

Vinification
After a long maceration on the skins and spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts, the wine is aged for about 10 months in small oak barriques followed by 14 months in tonneaux. The wine is bottled without clarification or filtration.
