Organoleptic Notes
Vivid, brilliant garnet colour. The bouquet has great personality, with aromas of fruit preserved in alcohol, liquorice root and ginger together with classic mineral notes and a mentholated finish. The palate is rich, full‑bodied and round, with refined tannins and a subtle tang.

Vinification
Gentle pressing of Nebbiolo grapes; classic alcoholic fermentation in stainless‑steel tanks at 30–32 °C with a 10‑ to 12‑day maceration and eight pumpovers per day; three months of lees stirring; malolactic fermentation during the process
Aging
Aged 26 months in small 10 hL barrels with Allier French oak staves and Slavonian oak heads and 1,500 L Slavonian oak casks; followed by 1–4 months in steel vats and several months of bottle ageing
