Organoleptic Notes

Intense, deep ruby red with garnet hints. The nose is persistent, broad and complex, with notes of fruit, spice and floral tones. On the palate it enters powerful yet refined, rich and structured, finishing with lingering jam-like/compote nuances and a long, tannin-rich, velvety persistence.

Winemaking

Vinification
Long fermentation and maceration in barriques (producer also notes use of Ganimede alongside barriques). Third-party tech summary specifies fermentation on skins in open barriques with submerged cap at ~25–30°C.
Aging
Total aging ~120 months in barrique + bottle. Third-party tech summary specifies: at least 24 months in barriques with skins, then assembled and aged in new barriques for a further 24 months, followed by at least 6 years in bottle. Producer notes barriques of 5 different oak types before long bottle aging.
