Organoleptic Notes
Garnet red colour with scents of morena cherry, vanilla and jam; on the palate it is full and persistent, moderately sweet, velvety, well‑balanced and elegant.
Winemaking
Vinification
Gently destemmed and crushed berries fermented in steel tanks at 10–18 °C with a maceration of 3–4 weeks and daily remontage; the wine, still containing residual sugar, is then drained; malolactic fermentation occurs in spring.
Aging
Aged in steel tanks until April, then 12 months in 500 L French oak tonneaux and 2 years in 2,000 L Slavonian oak casks, followed by 12 months in bottle.
