Organoleptic Notes
Very intense red with garnet tones; very intense aromas with notes of marmalade, tobacco, licorice, violets and medicinal plants with a clear mineral vein; very full-bodied yet drinkable, with important tannin, freshness, and a very long finish.
Winemaking
Vinification
Grapes are pressed/crushed and destemmed; fermentation in stainless steel under controlled temperature (~28°C) for about 20 days; malolactic fermentation in wood in springtime.
Aging
36 months in 24 hL French oak barrels; bottled September 2013.
