Maceration for 10–12 days at 25–32 °C with regular pumping over and cap punching down; malolactic fermentation in spring
Aging
Aged in French oak barrels for about 16 months followed by a short period in stainless steel tanks and at least 12 months in bottle before release

Highest area of the Grumello subzone known as Dossi Salati in the municipalities of Sondrio and Montagna, south‑facing at 500–650 m above sea level
