Organoleptic Notes

Deep ruby red colour with aromas of red and black currants, graphite, sweet tobacco, cherries, strawberries, cedar and subtle toasty oak; the palate shows silky tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Winemaking

Vinification
Fermentation and maceration on skins for 20–24 days with pump‑overs and délestage; malolactic fermentation in cement vats
Aging
Aged 12 months in new 500 L Tronçais Allier oak tonneaux followed by 8 months of bottle refinement
