Emiliano Falsini
Feudo Pignatone, Etna, Sicilia, Italy

Emiliano Falsini’s project is a labour of love built around crafting artisan wines that stay true to where they come from, shaped as much by passion as by patience in the vineyard. From the contrasting landscapes of Randazzo on the northern slopes of Mount Etna and Castagneto Carducci on the Tuscan Coast, he looks for sites with different soils and climates that share the same capacity to produce wines with strong personality and a clear sense of place. His philosophy is to see wine from multiple perspectives and to treat authenticity as a duty to the people who will drink it, with deep respect for the environment and the terroir. In the cellar, that translates into minimal winemaking intervention, letting the vineyards speak, whether from Nerello Mascalese grown at Contrada Feudo Pignatone or Cabernet Franc from Debbiacci Le Sondraie. Rooted between Bolgheri and Limite sull'Arno, the story is visually echoed by illustrations from Francesca Ballarini.
