Founded in 1950 by Giovanni Bongiovanni, the Bongiovanni Agricultural Company grew as a family-run farm devoted to producing, selecting, and transforming grapes into wine. Today it is stewarded by his grandson, Davide Mozzone, who over the last 20 years has reshaped the estate’s viticulture toward a more environmentally conscious approach across 7 hectares, with fruit rigorously selected and bottled on request. Their vineyards sit in the heart of the Langhe within the Barolo zone, spread through the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto, Serralunga, Diano, Roddino, and Monforte, where strong soils and steep, “heroic” slopes demand patient, hands-on work. While not certified organic, the family follows best practices associated with organic farming and even leans into biodynamic ideas like green manure, aiming for harmony from nourishing the vine roots to labeling the bottle, and from ripening bunches to their careful transformation in the cellar. All grapes are vinified on site under strict regulations, with compliance certified by Valoritalia, because their philosophy of quality is ecological, ethical, clear, and sincere, and it should end in a bottle that brings real satisfaction at a price that feels fair.
