FATTORIA LA RIPA
La Ripa's terroirs have been closely associated with the production of wine since 1457. In the 15th century the estate belonged to Mona Lisa's father. In 1940 the Caramelli family started renovating the winery and modernizing the production however still making very traditional Chianti. From 2006 all cultivation has been carried out strictly in accordance with the regulations for organic farming.
