TENUTA ENZA LA FAUCI
Located on a family land in the vicinity of Capo Peloro (right where Ulysses during his long travel runs in the sirens and not to succumb to the charm of their voices ties his men to the mast of the boat ). We are right at the entrance of the Strait of Messina. A clay soil mixed with limestone, Scirocco and Tramontana winds, abundant winter rainfall, make this area more "unique" than other parts of Sicily, often characterized by drier and sunnier landscapes. The work in the vineyard takes place only manually, with the exception of a small tractor which they use for processing of the land. Being particularly careful to the total respect for natural wines, they do not use any type of chemical herbicide. Four varieties of grapes are planted with Royal Cordon and Guyot: Nerello Macalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Nocera, Nero D'Avola.
