SICILIA
CANTINE EMILIANO FALSINI
Emiliano Falsini found his land of choice on the slopes of Etna, crowning his dream of producing wines with a strong territorial imprint on the Sicilian land and capable of transmitting the emotions of a unique territory.
There are about 3 hectares cultivated on the outskirts of Randazzo in Contrada Feudo Pignatone at about 700 meters above sea level, in one of the most evocative corners of the denomination, where the volcanic soil, the altitude and the old vineyards play perfectly with the indigenous variety of Etna par excellence: the Nerello Mascalese.
We are on the north side of the volcano where the temperature changes are more evident, where the grape harvest lasts until late October and the finesse of Nerello Mascalese takes on almost ethereal forms, making a Mediterranean wine Nordic. The vineyard is a single body with a predominance of centenary vineyard conducted in an organic regime and where the promiscuous culture prevails with the presence of olive trees, prickly pears and fruit trees, an ecosystem within the small company where the only protagonists are the Nerello Mascalese and Etna.
